I believe going 149 was part of his commitment, wherever he went. Part of the reason he didn't end up in Iowa City.

PSU still head and shoulders above everyone, Okie St probably alone in 2nd, Nebraska clearly #3 now and Stanford should be really good. Va Tech looks to be damn good… Iowa with a good squad returning. Currently looking up at a bunch of teams.
I think we will have a really good, fun, and entertaining dual team. But we don’t have a title contender for the first time in a lot of years. Without that, don’t expect much at nationals. If we end up top 10 at nationals I’d probably consider that a really good year based on the roster. Our best chance at a title contender is a true freshman heavyweight
