Love this one! What an add by Metcalf & Co.!!
You have to be able to take guys down at this level. He can do that in spades and our staff can certainly teach bottom wrestling. This is a high ceiling addition that with time in the room is going to be a force.0-2 last season, with losses to mid-major backups gets you going like this?
I believe Rin will cut to 125 and challenge Ayden for the spot. He's elite from his feet, up to the staff to develop his mat wrestling similar to how we have with the Cubans. But his talent is very, very highI don't know anything about Rin. I see he was mentioned as a 133 earlier. Is he 125 capable or career 133?
That all but ends the Reineri Saga for eligibility id guess with Rin now in the fold at 133?Two high ceiling kids today filling needs
The dude has a high ceiling, he’s no different than Yonger coming in.0-2 last season, with losses to mid-major backups gets you going like this?
This is awesome! Exactly what I was wondering. Thanks @stuclone!I believe Rin will cut to 125 and challenge Ayden for the spot. He's elite from his feet, up to the staff to develop his mat wrestling similar to how we have with the Cubans. But his talent is very, very high

How many years does Sakamoto have left? It's clear that Metcalf was serious about his strategy to find high upside guys with multiple years and motivation to prove themselves. I like that strategy a lot

He’s listed as a SO for us this coming year. How many years does Sakamoto have left?
I don’t know about that. Yonger had multiple world medals and nice senior level wins (Gadsen). A Quick Look at his UWW page and I don’t see any age level medal or big wins.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Should be 3How many years does Sakamoto have left?
I suppose I get what you’re saying. Sure will be interesting to see what he can do.He's a lot different than Yonger coming in. Yonger was a two time world medalist, and in his 2nd year in folkstyle/D1 wrestling he was an all-American. Rin has no world medals and in his 2nd year in folkstyle/D1 wrestling he was getting handled by mid-major D1 backups. And that was with practice partners like Spratley, Forrest, Vega, etc.
To be abundantly clear, he's absolutely a take. And I'm intrigued--note my initial reaction to his commitment. I'm just not doing the backflips like others, I guess.
Edit: By the way, the bigger win here might be that his sister was an NCAA champ for McKendree as a soph last season.![]()
