I texted that to a buddy right before Kingery’s first error. Glad it ended up not mattering but yeah.. doubt we see Bregman at DH much more this year, or maybe just live with Shaw taking the at bat instead of getting pinch hit for after how bad that could’ve been.

Kingery is likely the first DFA when we look to add a bat so it probably fixes itself but if the same situation happens again I’d slide Hoerner over.

Kingery suffering from "Steve Sax Syndrome" last night. Should have moved Bregman to third late in the game. Cubs' would have lost the DH, but defense was more important late after taking the lead.

Besides Shaw, the bench defense is not good.
