**** Official 2026 MBB Spring Transfer Portal Thread ****

I believe Rise's roster spot is important, as was the CEO and Kelderman. Guys at the end of the bench and are all in, while knowing they won't play except maybe a minute in a blowout. I would expect a guy who came here to play would leave if Milan returns, probably Mitchell or Prather.

I also don't think Milan ever plays another game in a Cyclone uniform.
With all due respect to Rise, his spot is literally the least important one on the roster. He would be shown the door if a miracle were to happen and Milan returned.

Prather and Mitchell would leave through the door before Rise even got there. Right now Prather, Bond, and Mitchell are competing for two 20-minute spots. With Milan they're competing for one 10-minute spot.

Except if they left now, they'd have to sit out a year, right? Or at least a semester? The portal window is closed. They can't re-enter it.

You're asking the wrong person. I don't know how the portal works, lol. I guess technically Mitchell never entered the portal?

I'm the wrong person too. I assume that since Prather and Bond signed with Iowa State, they can't just re-enter the portal again immediately.

A dude named Kyran Tille entered the portal and when I saw the name today (before my morning coffee), I swore it said Killyan Toure and my heart sank.

I saw his son play in high school. Wayne Tinkle was coaching the Montana Griz and his son played high school ball at Hellgate High School in Missoula. I saw him play at Oregon State against Iowa State (Haliburton led Cyclones). He is much more athletic than any of Fran's sons.
I was also at that game! Tough loss.

I’m not sure about athleticism or potential - but he had similar stats to Prather in a similar league - a bit more scoring volume got him over the 20 ppg threshold.

Kinda crazy to be at IPFW for 3 years and have your scoring go 6 -> 9 -> 21.
He just did not have it.

I never state my opinions in absolutes like that. They tend to bite you in the ass. Ten man rotation with Milan and nine without. They both work.
I try not to speak in absolutes either. Here are 3 key phrases from the post you originally replied to:
"I believe"
"I would expect"
"I also don't think"
