Pretty crazy the divergent paths between Naak and Gabe Arnold thus far in their collegiate careers. They wrestled 4 times their senior year in high school. Gabe won 8-3, 3-1, SV, and ultimate tie breaker. Tate definitely closed the gap to a toss up.

Maybe it was just familiarity between the two.

It was familiarity for sure. Naak never took him down and didn’t have Arnold’s level of success nationally.

Still surprised Naak has struggled so much in college. Hopefully that’s mostly attributable to injuries and his best days are ahead.

He redshirted, then had two seasons with injuries early in the schedule. I guess there’s a chance he could get two medicals.

I've never heard of 2 medical rs. Is this even possible? 4 years is a lot of time to improve.

He doesn't show as a student. Not sure how long he made it but it couldn't have been for long. No one has bothered to remove him from Wrestlestat, I guess.
