***2026 ISU Volleyball Thread***

According to the NCAA fiscal reports this is true. What is strange is that it is a 150% increase from FY 2024. What happened?

FY25 shows volleyball has a revenue of $291,641. So now volleyball is by far the largest loser of money.

I would assume the renovation of their new practice facility (1 time cost converting the old tennis facility) is included. They received a decent gift, but I’m sure there was some expense involved.

That's a totally different line item. It's not operating budget.

new facility probably. only thing that makes sense.

The program for today’s match. You can still find tix but get in price is ~$200.

Also- Nebraska is obviously not the one to be comparing to for volleyball, but the roster differences are apparent. 11 huskers over 6’2 compared to our 2. Spring is a little weird though with departing seniors before most incoming freshman get on campus.

Kind of strange that CJL only has one of her five Class of 2026 signees enrolled for the Spring compared to the 10 that NU has listed.

Also, with Martin as the only setter, that certainly limits the ability of switching from 5-1 to 6-2 as CJL likes to do.

Will be interesting to see what condition that Gonzalez is now in. And hopefully the NU Liberos play well so that they won't be compelled to poach RVG during the May portal cycle.

Def was not expecting Morgan lol. Martin having mono is random. Looks like a few others are in sweats which is not uncommon with offseason surgeries.

It’s not surprising but the announcers don’t seem to have much information about the Cyclones to talk about.
This cracked me up knowing John Cook is announcing lmao. He know Christy pretty well and as he said on the broadcast convinced her to get into coaching when he hired her at Wisconsin.
