They need the exact opposite. If the room isnt 80-90 degrees it isn't a wrestling roomSo, does women's wrestling not need AC either?

While I understand what you are saying....the problem is, they havent made themselves public to answer any questions. Just sat in a room and recorded by themselves.I'm not trying to suggest they shouldn't have to answer more questions about gymnastics, but during a press conference with several major announcements it just doesn't seem like the right time to get real in depth. Maybe I'm wrong.
She’s the perfect hire. Every interaction/observation I’ve had with her has been so consistent and human. I think she’ll be an incredible recruiter.OK, I've never heard Alli before.
She is IMPRESSIVE. Looked the reporters directly in the eyes. She is a born leader.
Wrestling has evolved heavily in the last decade or two. So it makes sense to have a younger guys or ladies who will understand that a little better. Is hiring super young coaches like Cael (ISU tenure), Taylor at OkSt, etc a Wrestling "thing" or are those just one-offs that make it seem that way because it's a handful of programs I vaguely pay attention to?
I agree with you but now that that point has been made, I’d be fine if no one ever typed that sentence ever ******* again.Just to piggy back off of this for casual wrestling fans, this would be the equivalent of Georges Niang becoming the Iowa Hawkeye Men's basketball coach with his kids growing up Hawkeye fans.
In the new facility I would guessThe few I've know are a crazy bunch.
However they want it going forward is the approach I hope.
No one is “made” to cut weight. You can go in at walk around weight but there is a good chance someone who cut themselves down to a low body fat will be able to horse you around.Just curious since I am a wrestling moron. Do they make the women drop weight like the men? Is it as drastic as the mens cuts? I know women have a harder time dropping weight like that and it messes with them a lot more than men.
also imho you have to be a little-bit off center with mental-grudges to be a really good wrestler, having the joy of food in your life is gonna give your opponent a mental edge.No one is “made” to cut weight. No, you have to have good discipline and self determined. Also self reliant. It’s just you and another wrestler on the mat, no team to help you out when competing. So it leads to a bit of arrogance in the good ones.also imho you have to be a little-bit off center with mental-grudges to be a really good wrestler, having the joy of food in your life is gonna give your opponent a mental edge.
They couldn't sell half the tickets in a much smaller building. I don't think moving it to Ames makes any financial sense. Just be happy it's close. Are the womens wrestling NCAA championships locked into Iowa City for a number of years and does anyone have any idea if they could come to Ames?
So.... a friend of mine is asking.... can the Women's wrestling team have a "mud" division?
Interesting details…
