**** Official 2026 MBB Spring Transfer Portal Thread ****

Will TJ consider a 10-man rotation with all the depth he's adding to his team? If everyone is contributing minutes and then getting a blow, hard as it is to imagine, they could actually bring even MORE defensive intensity to the court, now that would really be something. Defense, rebounding, steals, and the offense would take care of itself at that point.
Dr Tom made it work with Raveling’s players. Other than that I don’t remember it being that successful.

Texas A&M uses an 11 man rotation and press the whole game. We shall see how well that system works after a few years. They did pretty solid this year for a coach that was hired late into portal season

I feel like that is discussed every year but it never happens
I don’t know that going with a 7 or 8 man rotation is necessarily a philosophy. I think TJ would go with a ten man rotation if he thought we had the athletes. On paper, especially if Milan returns and Singleton signs, this would be TJ’s deepest team so far.

Hopefully he is better than what 5-9 David Coit displayed at KU during 2024-25. Self cut him loose after that one season.
It will certainly be interesting to see. A bit like the Rueben Bain draft issue. Supper talented, but basically zero precedence for success at the next level.

I don't have a way to research it, but a legitimate question. Who has had success at the big 12 level that is under 5'10?

Markquis Nowell from KSU was like 5-8 but his offensive skill set was a level or two above Johnson’s.

I did look it up Coit was listed at 5'11.
Frank Mason was listed at 5'11.
Tyrese Hunter has been TJ's smallest> 6'0
Tyler Harris in '21 was listed at 5'9, avgd 7.5 ppg
Korie Lucious was 5'11
Pierre Jackson from Baylor back in the day 5'10
Honor Huff at WVU this year 5'10

Ok. Keiton Page from OkSt was listed at 5'9. He was pretty damn good, although his game was quite a bit different then Johnson.

Does anyone know if Tre Singleton has been here today? Or whether he'll be here tomorrow?
