What punishment can NCAA do now? Taking away scholarships just means you put people on NIL money.
Yea I guess what I was trying to get at is - was the timeline possibly expedited due to some outside pressure?
About the only thing that they could try would be to ban a team from the post season, to which there would be a lawsuit due to the constant allegations of tampering in other sports that goes unchecked.
While we are taking Hawkeye dream coaches how about we get Lee on staff?
Perry will go to RTC and be official in some capacity I believe.

We have 1 top five and 1 other top ten finish at the NCAA tournament in the last 16 years. We have 1 conference title in that time period. Our last NCAA team championship was 40 years ago. We have had 1 guy win an NCAA title in the last 10 years.
A blue blood we are not.
That said, I love what KD has done with the program, and if Brent is the next guy--awesome!!!
We are a legacy blue blood, like UCLA in men's bball and Nebby in football. That counts for something. But yeah, we sure do need a team podium like, yesterday.
