I didn’t read the article because it was the Des Moines Register and personally don’t consider that to be a reliable source, based on the hok biased history of the rag. But now that you mention it, I don’t believe that I have seen an official returning announcement about Toure.

Hines posted direct quotes from the players after he asked them if they were coming back next season. That's as good of information as you can get. Since that article though I have reason to believe that Toure and Mitchell are both coming back. So I'll update the document.
