***Official 2026 NCAA Tournament Thread***

Is the entire Big10 season like this with defenses flopping to draw fouls? Cause that would be an awful product to watch.
Not really but it depends on the team, if your playing a physical team like Zona it makes sense to get the refs to negate on of their biggest strengths.

Also the fouls are basically even, I know people love blaming the refs but no real discrepancy

This has to be brutal for you. Similar to how most Cyclone fans felt watching Iowa have a deeper run and better season than us at the end of the day.
Oh I went to both MSU and Michigan. Just went to State for undergrad so had way much more time to attend all the games and lean that way when they play against each other but still cheer and root for both. In Indy right now with my Michigan gear on

A Michigan and Michigan State fan, posting on a Cyclone fan site while at the Final 4 cheering on Michigan seems like the oddest thing ever.

I’m not worried about the number of fouls. It’s about the flow of the game and making it entertaining to watch. The Michigan defense reminds me of the NBA when offensive players try to hunt for fouls rather than make shots. They’d rather fall down to draw a foul rather than defend the player. I guess it is effective, but it makes for a really poor product to watch.

Are there no Michigan or Michigan State fan sites? Because most fans tend to steer towards fan sites of their teams, especially when their team is playing, and not some random team in another conference. Sorry, just seems really weird.

A fan of both teams probably isn’t welcome on either site. It’s kinda like the Iowa fans that come here and say they support both teams. No one wants them around.

He’s not new here.

That doesn't (or shouldn't) mean anything to a team if they're winning.

Michigan just looks better; larger and faster everywhere.

Of course Lendeborg gets the ankle injury that heals in like 25 minutes

He tweaked it in the B1G title game, way minor.

Some morons will come around with the 'see what JJ could have been doing?' without thinking about how JJ couldn't walk in full stride let alone run.
