I wouldn't think Metcalf would leave for Iowa if Brands are still there
Boy I don’t like the Metcalf leaving talk..
If you've ever talked to Metcalf about Iowa.... there's not a lot of love lost there.
I’m not sure how much value that holds. The right offer, and chance to be coach in waiting at Iowa would be very enticing and enough to put away some grudges.
I don’t know if there is any truth to the rumor or not, but I don’t think past statements would sway me that there is no smoke there.
No clue how credible this guy is at all, but I do not like reading that.
My dream is he stays long enough for Carr to call it a career and replace him. Sounds like that may not happen.
Metcalf is not going to Iowa.
Honestly not trying to corner you. I just didn’t know there could be a realistic scenario where he is an assistant at a different school.
i know i brought in the different t school talk in which im taking that back. I’d imagine there’s a successor plan in place once dresser leaves for Metcalf to take over. Or I could be completely off.
not saying I want him to leave just curious on why these talks are being brought up about a succession plan
