Lexi, Diew, Fritz (eventually), and Bristow all played plenty of minutes for their P4 teams.
Donarski did all right at North Carolina, Kylie eventually made the starting lineup at Iowa, and Aubrey Jones was a role player at Oklahoma. We have had many that have gone down a level and been solid players.

i mean, no offense but you don’t have to be a coach to see that she was a level or 2 above where she should be. No shame in that.
I would be sad if we lost Audi, Addy or Jada. AJ and Paulk can be good off the bench.
JMO and I’m no expert. I think everyone else can be replaced, even if you went and got some of the best D2 players. Go to work coaches, hit the portal hard.

“She was overrated as a four-star” is a pretty bold statement that usually would come with some credibility…
Let's see if Oklahoma comes calling, the answer is no. She will be lucky to get a mid major offer. She was a total miss by the recruiting experts, let's not try to brew up some controversy that simply is not there.
I saw all games this year either live or in person. Tanke was probably the last player on our bench.
I'm not putting down your evaluating too much, and I certainly don't think she can seriously contribute at the P4 level, but to suggest that she'd be lucky to get a mid-major offer seems ludicrous. She needs to play with and against players that are more here skill level.
Your probably correct a UNI or Drake type school might be a fit. I will say our friends daughter plays in the Valley at Illinois St so I have seen some of those teams and I am not sure she sniffs the court at some of them. She us simply to slow.
We’ll, a true 4 star would be seeing heavy minutes for us, especially one who’s specialty is shooting. Not sure where she was listed as Top 100 but ratings services didnt do their homework. I think she’d do fine at Drake or UNI, but maybe some P4 will take a chance. Good luck to her.
They played but were role players on their new teams. If they transferred to expand their skill-set or have bigger impact than they had at ISU, it didn't happen.
IMO Lexi was only player who hit portal that we missed. Feel like every other women, their replacement was already on roster or we acquired in portal.

I think we actually could have really used Bristow, I think. She had some length and would have let us play Brown at the 3, but maybe Bristow didn’t want to be a small forward.
Omaha was overrated as a 5 star. It’s not to hard to say that with four and five star recruits. If they are going into year three and still not giving much, they were overrated. Unless they go play for a powerhouse like UConn who has all five star recruits

4 star misses isn't unusual, look on the men's side at ISU with Foster & Omaha.
Not every 4/5 star girl who goes to UConn, UCLA, Gamecocks, LSU, etc. play. The misses are around 50% among elite HS players.
So if overrated means touted in HS, but don't earn meaningful minutes in college- happens all the time!
When is Bill's retirement announcement expected?
If 2 of them leave it’s all over might as well start over.
I thought Tanke struggled ans a freshman and Bill kept playing her when she wasn’t ready. Then she didn’t play at all this year until the injuries and the losing streak. When Bill finally played her she was at the 4 and I thought she did great. It was a better fit. She didn’t have to guard a quicker player. Size didn’t seem to be an issue. She is a really heady player and that showed in her rebounding and passing. Then she didn’t get to play anymore.
I’m not sure if we’ll hear about that long before it happens. The long timers that have retired this year seem to have just announced it at the end of the season.
