*** Official Kentucky vs #6 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

I think Kentucky has a lot of hotheads and immaturity. Hopefully, we can get a few scores of big defensive plays early to get them rattled. I predict at least one of the UK players does something stupid in the second half and they just fold after that. Don't want it to be a back-and-forth game at the end. ISU 80-65.

Just watch TJs pre Kentucky press conference. Every question from the blue side was tell me how great you think we are so I can stroke myself even more. They really don’t understand what they are about to face. Hoping for a rude awakening.

Ticket prices have dropped considerably. There is still time to get to St. Louis from Ames.

Kentucky fans selling their tickets?

I think it is mostly Missouri fans selling tickets, but I'll bet there are some Kentucky fans selling tickets too. They don't have the crowd here that I expected and surely many of them have extras. And Kentucky fans certainly aren't buying up all the extras either.

My analysis—

Our paths to victory without Jefferson are :

1) our smothering defense rules the game and gives Kentucky fits

2) we can get good looks, and go off from 3

I’m not banking on #2. Tennessee state was fools gold, that was the worst team in the tourney.

My favorite moment of the Otz era was playing literally everyone on the roster in the first few minutes on the road against top-10 Baylor right after Caleb Grill was kicked off the team. Cyclones set the tone playing with their hair on fire and punked the Bears on their home floor. If anyone can have this team ready today, it’s Otz & Co. In TJ we trust!

Love that....fuel for Hulked Up TJ. Wait till we have a flurry of good plays or a role player gets it done, he will come flying off the sidelines into the huddle with that look in his eyes.

I think you're right or close to it on TN State being worst. They felt over seeded at 15. Furman was also a 15 and would have beat TN State by 20+
