***NCAA Wrestling - Session 6 (Saturday, 5:30pm CT)***

I love this Valencia kid. And to think that Stanford was about to can their program just a couple years ago.

Can you guys who follow wrestling closer than I do? Give me the 411 on Valencia how the hell does a 10th rank guy make it all the way to the finals, look that good and beat number one Penn State… And what the hell’s up with all these bricks that’s pretty obviously a takedown isn’t it?
It happens. Sometimes a kid has a bad qualifying tournament and gets a lower seed. Other kids just perform better when the lights are brightest. Sometimes there are upsets along the way that can make your path easier. These are elite athletes, and on a good day anyone can beat someone else. That is why repeat champions are so revered.

I didn’t realize DT was such a **** talker. He was pointing at Neb corner saying something as soon as the brick is thrown

Edit: now I see why he was saying something with Manning saying something to ref too

Hate how much slapping Antrell gets away with. I get head taps and posts on the forehead and top of the head but the swings at ears with no intention to stick or get to the collar is ridiculous.

And then threw his ankle bands at Robideau

Off subject question....what is Nebraska doing in recruiting and development better than us? Seems like a program that shouldn't be having more sustained success than us.

OSU is going to be a major problem. They might be able to take down Cael in the next few years
With vega jax robiduex merrill then raneys and ross coming in they could build something damn near unstoppable for a few years

Ped State wrestling spends more than ISU men's basketball

Don't get me wrong here. I have as strong as dislike for Hawks as the next guy, but I admire what Caliendo brings every time out. Not your typical Hawk. He will be hard for Coach Bob to replace. PS. I hate everything about this 165 finals match.
