*** Official Tennessee State vs #6 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

I told you idiots awhile back, that Toure should never shoot! Lol!
Sidenote. If I hadn't seen the game and knew nothing other than the final score, I would have guessed that Jefferson, Milan and Tamin would have combined for roughly 60+.
More like 20-ish. Freaky

Thanks Tilzzzz
Ok, it may not be my deepest analysis of an opponent, but does anyone else think that Tennessee State's logo is odd.

Seriously, I went early to the shoot-around yesterday and arrived while they were still on the court. I had to ask which team it was because I didn't associate their logo with their school name. I commented that it looked more like LSU or an LSU knock-off.

Also, when I entered the stadium, their pep band was playing a very soothing version of "Jesus Loves Me." Then, after I got settled, they really dialed it up, making it hard to talk to others during their shoot-around. I know it sounds like a cliche, but it is true. HBCU bands and cheerleaders/dancers bring so much soul to their performances. I'm really looking forward to watching them during the game.

I'd like to go back and watch the game because it was hard to concentrate on it after the injury. But we played a hell of a game.

It was fun to see Toure have a breakout game. It was cool to see Nelson out there doing pretty well after not seeing serious minutes for months.

What’s really encouraging is how Toure and Batemon have been coming on right when we need them.

Heise can always pitch in a major contribution too.

We’re going to need all of them Sunday assuming no JJ.

Nate Hy-Zee is the ******* man. Gonna miss him next year.
Heise and Toure had great games today! It is apparent that Nate could have been a much bigger scorer this year, if we didn't rely so much on Milan and Joshua for our offense.

And what is it with Jim Spanarkel mispronouncing Nate's name, Hy-Zee, every ISU game this year? Shame on him and on CBS for not correcting him. No one else mispronounces his name. The Olympic crew got his siter's name right in Olympic hockey. Only Spanarkel get's Nate's name wrong, every time.

Agree. And Nelson had a very good game. He was ready to step in and play, hasn't complained all year, that I know about, and is a good teammate. Cudos to Dominick Nelson!
