The bigger Ivy League “outlier” is Duke/Virginia transfer TJ Power for Penn.

I would bet the committee had Purdue ahead of them going in to today.

That’s my guess, they usually have the brackets drawn up to reflect the two different outcomes of the big ten championship game if it would make a difference. If Purdue beats Michaign they probably deserve to take the 2 over sparty.

What I don’t like is that could be a sparty 3 seed against ISU

Illinois probably but not sparty with the head to head and also general lack of good wins for many weeks
