Does all the craziness of the SEC tournament same something about that league?
They were pretty bad in the non-conference and somehow the talking heads morphed to "they're pretty good actually" to "they're not as good as last year, but they're very strong" to "they belong in the same conversation as the Big 10 and Big 12". They do not.

They'll end up with most teams in tournament. I'm not saying it's a bad league either but the top 5 of big 12/big 10 is much superior to SEC that it let's mediocre teams get enough wins to be on bubble or better. I think you're seeing the lack of a really good top of conference in the SEC tournament.

Interested to see how Duke does down a couple of its players. Really suffered defensively because of it.

UCLA missed their leading scorer.

And their 2nd leading scorer went out with an injury 9 or 10 minutes into the game.

Purdue won’t be as fortunate tomorrow vs Michigan.

If Michigan cares , they should win by 10

EDIT: the opening line is Michigan -6.5.

So pretty much as expected.

CBS bracketology predicting Miami will be out if San Diego State beats Utah State in MWC championship. They have Miami as the last team in and San Diego State as first team out. The consensus before I saw this was that Miami was safely in.

Yeah but CBS has us as a three. I wouldn’t draw many conclusions from their bracket.

Miami is safely in. Miami (Ohio) is on the bubble. None the less cbssports bracketology is pretty much garbage.

31-1 and not good enough?? I don't care who you have played that should get you in to at least a play in game.

I have a feeling the committee will have them in in a play in game as its just hard to say no to an undefeated regular season, but its also hard to ignore their absolutely horrendous SOS. The committee could validly say they don't want to reward that as it may encourage others to adopt equally weak schedules. I mean, how many other at large teams have zero quad 1 wins and only one win in quad 2A? How many teams that will be left out could be sitting with 0-1 losses as well if they had the same schedule?
