When that first TT shot went in, after 28 seconds of insane ISU defense.......

That shot pissed me off just as much as any other...more of the "pull a shot out of their ass and oh, look, it went in" from TT. Has to stop at some point, right?

So here is the thing. Their method to beat us is to pass thwe second they get the ball out of trap, they are going to spots and just couinting on the next guy to be there. We need to jump that a few times and get an easy layup. They are complete robots on that second pass out of the trap. Either play them straight or jump their asses.

Helps when you hit open 3s. We haven’t, so far.

A team like Tech is kryptonite for our defense

You’ll see a team like tech in the tourney which is why we get bounced early unfortunately

Effort is there, just not making shots we HAVE to make against good teams.

it is what is is....we are always going to give up those open 3s if you can move the ball out of the trap....if teams can do that and knock down the open ones, it's going to be tough for us against anyone that can do that...most teams can't, a few can

This defense is easy for teams like tech that can make the extra pass. Wide open 3s all day

Offense will have to execute today. We've seen this type of matchup enough over the last 3 years to know that our defensive scheme just wont work well against these types of teams.

I thought it was pretty obvious live. YTTV won't let you screenshot, so I'm at the mercy of getting a still from video recording a TV. But I thought the ball landed centered on the line. Not sure if or when it's reviewable, but that would've been worth a look.

You’d think getting out hustled in the first game would’ve inspired us… Tech getting every 50/50 ball right now
