RTT...20-20 hindsight.

On the other side of me there is a T intersection with one stop sign. People generally don't stop at the stop sign and some people appear to almost be losing control to make sure they don't slow down at all despite having to turn left or right. When did stop signs become optional?
In my area the issue is sitting at stop signs. You may get hit. There are a lot of times that i have had to stop quickly well short of the stop area because a person turning left cuts it so short that they are in my lane for a bit

One common theme, 90-95% female drivers when it happens.

Last paragraph, "I know, we all joke about it. I was just kidding..."
I was really responding to these words. "Just saying it definitely hit home here".
I'm not worried about you; you know how we handle things. However, many folks in our position absolutely hate having people tiptoeing around us, or treating us differently. It actually gets kind of funny when we travel with groups. Lew has to take his pills at very rigid intervals. His watch alarm is set for 10a, 4p, and 10p. Lew is really REALLY bad at stopping what he's doing to take the his pills, so I had to start setting MY watch. When the alarms go off, I usually look at him and say "Lew, take your pills" and watch until he does. In group situations such as the bus tour we took through Scotland & Ireland last fall, by the third day, pretty much everyone on the bus was saying "LEW, TAKE YOUR PILLS" when our alarms went off. Having people knowing what's going on and sharing the load is something I love, because I know others are watching out for him as well.

I guess it really does take a village! :)

The whole bus telling Lew to take his meds is hilarious!

Your point is well taken. People need to learn to not see it as a sign of weakness to rely on others and they also on the other side of things need to learn to read the room. People will generally give you signals as to how they are handling it and what they need. If they are giving you signals that they are dealing with it through humor, dip your toe into that pool. If that is well received, don't be afraid to share in the gallows humor with them.

Excellent point, KC.

By the way, our friend is doing well. Still no word on his treatment plan going forward. I think they are doing some more study on the removed mass - which, by the way, appeared to be in the skull but separate from the brain. It was only affecting the brain by putting pressure on it. I assume they need a good analysis to figure out where and how they should be focusing treatment.

My Delta 737 Death Cold sucks. Do not recommend. Glad I bulked up on tissues, haven't left the house since last Thursday.

But at least the Cayenne Tick that bite me in Mexico didn't give me Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Finding an embedded tick on my leg was not on my vacation bucket list.

Influenza B sucks. As soon as one symptom starts getting better, another one hits hard. I've had something going on for a week and a half and now currently dealing with the "razor blade" dry cough with a heavy dose of congestion.

It has hit all 5 of us.

I'm fine now but early to mid Feb, I got a hell of a cold, bad enough I did three days of nothing and skipped about 2 wks worth of games in Hilton. Felt like crap and sure wasn't going to give it to anyone else.

My wife's first day for going back for her masters off to a rocky start. Our laptop came up with bitlocker recovery message when she booted it up this morning and it asked for a 48 digit code. We were able to login to her Windows account via her phone to retreive the passcode but it is now asking for this bitlocker recovery passcode every time she starts up the laptop. Is this due to some malware or something? She can eventually get access but it is a pain in the rear to get her computer started up. I checked google and it was mentioning things like TPM, BIOS and UEFI. I'm not a tech/computer guy so I was lost on this.

I will be in the TCs Thursday morning. Will drive home, switch vehicles and drive to KC. It’ll be fun.

Where are you staying? We switched hotels yesterday
Not sure of the hotel. About a half mile south of P&L. Close to Jack Stack BBQ.

I'm leaving early Friday morning.

What are you doing in the TC's or should I just assume fraud tourism?

Starting a daycare.

It’s a joke everyone

Have a meeting. Short one so I will leave around 5am and hope to get home by 1. 4.5 hours to power and light it says.
