Stall stall stall again. Ech needs to shoot in the first 2 periods against Vega to get the stall calls though
Watching Vega wrestle is why I like freestyle a lot more. Guy is gonna get his ass kicked in freestyle.
Shows I know nothing about matchups. Ech had all day to eat and had the 1 lb allowance. I didn’t think there was any way he lost that match after 9pm.

Hopefully that is the bottom semifinal match. Think it will be tough for Vega to beat him 3 times in a row. I don’t think Ech is a 49 if he comes back next year. He’ll see more length like Vega up a class.

This is where I need help understanding the matrix.
Why wouldn’t he be the 3? He’s ranked 3rd right now. Only losses are to Mendez (#1 ranked and obviously the 1 seed; maybe the overall 1 seed/Hodge) and 2x to Vega (unbeaten and ranked #2).
I get Stanich is unbeaten, but his best win is a decision against Cornella. Good win, but nothing special. He hasn’t wrestled anyone else.
I know Hardy is there too, but he has 4 losses. 2x to Mendez (decision and major) and 2x to Vega. Vega destroyed him twice too (major and a fall).
Ech lost to Mendez 5-1 and two nail biters to Vega.

Just think it will be 1. Mendez 2. Vega 3. Stanich 4. Ech 5. Hardy
Vega picked first. I don’t know what the thought process was there. Only reason he got out easy the first time is because he let him. I would have much rather seen him lose by not getting a TD than getting rode out
