With yesterday's results around the league, it looks like our only path for a bye at the Big 12 tournament is a win today. Is that correct?
Glad we won and we get the bye, but sad we are the 7th seed given our expectations.
I sure like this draw. Puts OSU and TCU on the other side. This team can do this!
Yeah they scary, but we played them without AJ and Brown so we have a bit more chance
I think coming into the weekend, this is probably the best case scenario for clones that could have happened in terms of seeding.
Think they have no shot at 7. If we're holding out hope for a nice March Madness run, I'd prefer they somehow end up a 10. The 1 seeds feel way better than even the 2's.
See, I have more confidence in our ability to beat literally every other double-bye team than WVU....WVU's defense is just a nightmare situation for this team
They beat us by 13. First full game without Jackson & Brown. As you could tell, both of those players handled KState’s pressure well yesterday. I think we can get by them with a W.
Will be interesting to see what they do. IF the Sisters find a way to win the tournament AND the Audi Crooks factor (tv eyeballs) may or may not have some influence on the seeding. Personally, I doubt it. The sad part is the strength of schedule is highly biased by the perceived top to bottom strength of the SEC just like in football. No doubt the upper crust are excellent, but once you get to the teams at 6th on down…I highly question it. Georgia is a perfect example, barely beating KU at home. Ole Miss lost to KState at home.
7 turnovers between the two of them and 24 as a team. I don't know if I'd call that "handling the pressure well".
They want the ratings, the bottom line. They will be maximizing matchups for 32, 16 and 8, I bet. What are the odds of us as a 7 in Iowa City? Certainly above zero. Audi is good tv, one of the best they have.
