****Official Class Of 2027 Recruiting Thread****

It looks like some people are comparing him to Jason Williams. Looks to be a dynamic combo guard that is blowing up. He’s a four star on ESPN. He can shoot and he has hops and handles.

Is this the same kid? Tweet said Houston, recruit profile says Huston. The ESPN profile also says he’s from Oregon?

Just watched Josiah Harrington in North Scott at Muscatine. Hopefully it was just an off game, because he didn't look like the best player in Iowa. Muscatine did focus heavy defense on him, so he did pass off a lot. He scored 16 points, had several assists and a couple of blocks. Muscatine won by about 17 points.
It was nice to see, he didn't make it about himself and played within what was available. The focus on him allowed some of his teammates to open up and probably have better games then normal.

Second that, I was at the game and he had a unimpressive game. He also served a "use" suspension recently. Everyone has "off nights" and I hope he matures into his potential.

Davis set another visit… seeing Fred jump into the recruitment is notable.

Still coming the 14th then you think?

Edit to add: looks like Fred has been in for a while reading back through this thread. Had visits set up to Lincoln twice

Saw Harrington play Bettendorf, the 7th team in the state the other day. He had 30 but puts up quiet points and does it all, and he played almost every minute. I know his cousin and he told me Josiah takes it half paced in North Scott games in order to maintain his health. Just a side note his little brother Jeremiah played a lot of minutes in that game and played well too. If he gets to be as big as Josiah then he should be an excellent basketball player. I also heard rumors that Josiah may go to prep school next year.

Did Donovan Davis make it to the ISU/Kansas game on Saturday? If something has been posted, I missed it. I saw earlier he was planning to attend.

On3 is saying he visited this weekend, but I haven't seen that confirmed elsewhere. I know Baboucarr Ann and Josiah Harrington were in attendance for KU game. I think Ann and Davis will be Cyclones.

After somewhat struggling with getting HS recruits to pan out (basically only Lipsey and Momcilovic in the Otzleberger era), that could be 3 monster classes in a row.

Ann and Harrington (commit) were at the game.
I think DD is attending the TT game. The staff likes getting the last visit to close.
Reading back through this thread a bit shows he most recently planned to attend TT on Feb. 28th. I hadn't seen that when I made the post today. I saw at one point he was planning to attend the Iowa State/Kansas game, so this explains why there was no reporting on it after Saturday. Thanks.

I thought Avery Huston was visiting for the KU game too but I could be mistaken.

Just saw Huston is visiting tonight vs Houston. Definitely gaining priority status for the staff.
