Don't want to be too Debbie Downer here ... but are Scheelhaase and Roehl buddies?
Their time in Ames did not overlap, nor did any of their prior coaching spots. That said, sure they may know each other?

He is also buddies with a large portion of Penn State staff. They are now close by to either Cleveland or Pittsburgh.Don't want to be too Debbie Downer here ... but are Scheelhaase and Roehl buddies?
I've already wone two rings today.I'm currently, right now, just like Nate and trying to take the Browns to the Super Bowl.
Worn two rings? One high and one low?I've already wone two rings today.
Semantics. Still a huge jump. I'll be flabbergasted if he gets it.He wasn't an analyst for the Rams, he was their offensive pass game coordinator. Which is essentially the highest offensive assistant behind the coordinator LaFleur and McVay.

Campbell was an interim HC for most of a season, Harbaugh was a P5 HC. All but JH were assistant HCs also A lot different than Nate.I'd be pretty wild. Dan Campbell had no coordinator experience. Andy Reid had no coordinator experience. Jim Harbaugh had no coordinator experience.
Nate's hiring would maybe be unprecedented, give the combination of no coordinator experience and almost no NFL experience at all.
I hope Nate gets whatever he wants but the Browns head job hasn't exactly been a career maker.
Steelers have no QB, but I’d rather have a no QB situation than being saddled with Watson/Gabriel/ShadeurHe is also buddies with a large portion of Penn State staff. They are now close by to either Cleveland or Pittsburgh.
Easy move to either place
Steelers would be a better job cuz they would give him time
Perhaps, but it is additional exposure plus practice interviewing, even if the interview isn't fully in good faith. That extra experience/exposure can be an asset in the future. It is sad, but every time a minority coach is in the hunt for a job I wonder if the poor guy is getting Rooney Ruled.
Don't you put that evil on him, Ricky BobbyPurdy to the Browns.....
Plus it seems likely he'll at least get an OC job. Between the 9 HC openings and a bunch of firings there should be plenty open.Perhaps, but it is additional exposure plus practice interviewing, even if the interview isn't fully in good faith. Maybe he poops through a ring like a circus trickWorn two rings? One high and one low?
Campbell was at least an interim coach for 3/4 of a season and both he and Reid held assistant HC positions prior to getting full time HC jobs. Harbaugh went to a smaller school to HC and worked his way up that way.I'd be pretty wild. Dan Campbell had no coordinator experience. Andy Reid had no coordinator experience. Jim Harbaugh had no coordinator experience.
