NFL: ***Chicago Bears 2025 Thread***

I was really hoping we'd get Philly. Their offense doesn't scare me and we've already proven we can beat them.

Stafford with two of the best receivers in the NFL and McVay are at a different level right now. I don't see how our secondary slows them down .
Fwiw, I didn't see us beating Eagles, primarily due to a list of our injuries, that is off the freaking charts.

Probably not but I think our run defense could slow down Barkely. We already did that once and did a solid job on Jacobs last night. Then its all a matter of making Hurts beat you in the air.

We'll see what happens. The Rams D hasn't been playing very well lately either so maybe we can keep up with their passing game.

Give me the Rams, they can’t stop anyone. And Stanford might be injured.

Have to tip my hat to Saleh.
Didn't think this patchwork d had a chance in hell.

Hey Jets, how did firing Saleh work out?

I think the Saturday games would be switched from this, Seahawks/Niners in the late window, Bills/Broncos earlier if patterns from Sunday Night football flex games is any indication. When does that decision come? After tonight's game?

Top ten fan reaction, fan with the cheese grater. How do you sneak a metal cheese grater past security?

Yes after tonight's game. I'm not sure how it works, but I know ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox all each get a game.

The last 2 years it's been ABC/ESPN in the early window on Sat and Fox in the late window. ABC/ESPN has had an AFC game and Fox the NFC game. On Sunday it has been NBC in the early and CBS in the late with NBC having NFC and CBS AFC.

If that pattern holds true it will be Buff/Den around 3 on Sat and SF/Sea on Fox at 7. LA/Chi on NBC around 2 pm and Hou/Pit winner vs NE at 5-ish on CBS.

I like the Packers Christian Watson reaction to this play:

I've seen that play replayed at least 100 times now.

If his career fizzles out tomorrow that will still be one of the epic plays in NFL history.

Always be skeptical of warm weather teams playing in the brutal cold in January. Add an aging Matthew Stafford with a sore finger on his throwing hand, and I think the Bears have an excellent shot on Sunday. This will be BY FAR the worst weather LA has played in all year.

The Rams will certainly score, but count me as not scared of a team that could very easily have been bounced by the worst playoff team in recent memory and also recently lost in Atlanta.

Bear Down.

When Stafford moved to LA I saw an interview in which he said getting away from NFC North weather would be a plus for him. I thought it was strange considering it was only 2 games a year in the division outside.

Maybe he was referring to just living?

65 in Marina Del Rey vs -20 in Detroit seems like a nice win for living a daily life.
