TV Recommendations

I replaced two TV's this year. A 85" Samsung for our basement, and a 55" Hisense for the bedroom. Both have great pictures with 4k, but the problem is that most of my content is not in 4k. We have a 5 year old LG OLED in the family room, and it still has the best picture, I got a great deal on a high end Samsung 85". so I went with that. After a few months with the Hisense, I would have no hesitation in purchasing those in the future.

Good to know on the Hisense. They have good pricing and the listed specs look good. But didn't know anyone actually having one.

The actual amount of true 4k broadcast each night is just another example of greed by corporations. It was intended that by now every broadcast would be in 4k, instead of using the entire bandwidth to broadcast the signal, many companies split it into smaller bits allowing them to add more channels. Japan is already broadcasting in 8K and on any given night we have very little being broadcast in 4k.
