Watching pedo fans go nuts for picking up transfers and 3* recruits from us is funny af.

Imagine spending $30m to buy our 8-4 guys.

Yea!!!! We got em!!!

I get its last minute stuff…but they should have been able to get some better guys for that money.
I mean I get the lets bash campbell but our top 10 players could play almost anywhere.

I mean would you say the same thing for “7-6”Purdy, Breece hall, charlie kolar, will mcdonald, mike rose ?

Ben Brahmer is the number 1 TE transfer, jontez the number 1 cb transfer. Coop isnt far behind

We are basing this off Coop playing 4 games at corner?

I hate to be that guy, but does anyone remember 2024 coop?

What I saw in a cursory search was $15-24M this year (and Beck getting $3.1-4M of it).

No clue if that’s true, but it seems consistent with rumors about other players. It seems that P4 QB NIL is trending towards being on par with NFL QB deals as a percentage of payroll.

Pretty sure wrestling was getting $1 million, but I could be wrong.
Wrestling has to raise the $1M as it is not coming from the athletic fund. It is part of the revenue share allotment, though. Wrestling gives Jamie a check that goes to revenue share for wrestling.

Im with you. Feel what you want, but any program would be happy to have our top guys. Heck, even some of our not so top guys (Townsend).

Seems petty to bash on them 2 months after cheering for them, but those are the times I guess.

Looks like only two rbs left on the roster, officially. What’s the word on Peppers? Was hearing good things about him before getting injured.

Every athlete gets $1,000 so I would bet that if you add up the $1,000 for softball, volleyball, golf, ect thats where that other $2-3M is going.
You forgot wrestling.

Jontez, Cooper, and Brahmer are NFL players. Pretty much every school in the country would want those guys

Not sure so on cooper.
I’m admittedly higher on Cooper than most. I thought he could be a late round pick as a safety.

Probably needs more tape as a corner to get picked at that position. But I think he could do that if he comes back ok from his ACL. He was balling those first three games.

Those first three games were two of the weaker opponents we had. If he had NFL options at safety he would have never moved. A coach is not going to move a player away from his draftable position his last year. He went to corner because people we take flyers on a CB before safety.

The "Other Sports" received 200,000.00 per JP. 1,000.00 per "Other Sport" per athlete. JP said they implemented it as such so as to remain in compliance. The "Student" athlete must sign a waiver per the NCAA.

Ok so since I started this aside, it appears folks have clarified that it is:

$13-14M FB
$5M MBB
$1M wrestling (self-funded but counts toward cap)
$750k WBB
$200k all other sports combined

Adds up to the $20.5M cap.

Blum confirmed this, as well. So, ~1% of the $20.5MM rev share.

Sorry I'm sure this has been covered before but I've never understood the 30m psu gets for their football roster? I thought the 20m Rev sharing was standard and has to be split in all sports?

Jamies interview made it sound like anything beyond Rev sharing is business dealings, and not like a sukup or similar could just add another 10m annually to football. This whole thing is just so confusing to me.
