So we can't question Pollard on here anymore?

After 26 pages, I think the overwhelming consensus is we can question Pollard. But those questions must be in Pig Latin and include at least one CJR Eff-bomb.

This is an allowable question:
amiejay ouyay eednay otay irefay immyjay ogersray ecausebay ehay aidsay eatbay ethay uckingfay awkshay inyay ontfray ofyay ymay ifeway

For those that don't understand pig latin:
Jamie you need to fire Jimmy Rogers because he said Beat the ******* Hawks in front of my wife.
Wait a minute, when I agreed to lick JPs boots, he never said anything about multiple languages.

Just remember this, Mr. Pollard, that these slobs you're talking about... they do most of the working and paying and living and dying in this community. Well, is it too much to have them work and pay and live and die with some nice seats and a couple of decent beers?

Interesting to see that thread closed down so fast. Some of you need to open your eyes and ears and stop being bootlicking sheep.
My question is this the David Moss from 80s Johnny orr team?
If so, show some respect people!
If not, carry on

The foundation doesn't seem to be doing a very good job of getting in front of the public on the new "we will".
But it will be the fans fault.
This was embarrassing before the Campbell departure and is outright negligent at this point. If there was ever a time to capitalize on fear and emotion to raise money for the athletic department it’s when your beloved football coach just left for more money and your men’s and women’s team are both top 10 with legit AA candidates.

The foundation/AD/Cyclone Club don’t care about the We Will Fund- and that starts with JP. Literally the Friday after JFR’s press conference the Cyclone Club was pushing people to donate to the CyTown Capital Fund. Shows where JP’s priorities are. But yes, it will absolutely be the fans fault while our donation requirements and ticket prices continue to go up

In the current environment we DON'T. We are currently using our savings to fund the Revenue Sharing. So what happens when that savings runs out in a few years and we can't fund our Revenue Sharing?
According to JP, the Board of Regents will be meeting about this subject. If the Board of Regents do not open up some taxpayer money to the athletic departments- then Iowa State athletics will be bottom dwellers.

Not that I’m at the top of their list, but o haven’t heard a thing from them. Why is housing NIL with the Foundation supposedly better than the Collective? Why the move?

I'm not high enough up on the knowledge level/food chain to answer this.
My best guess is Jamie wants to get the 20 million funded then hand out NIL after that. Personally I'm not sure if ISU has that kind of money. We will know more in 2 yrs.

I saw a press conference with JP- it is on CF, and he said that if the Board of Regents do not step forward the athletic department will be basically broke.

Meh PSU got a giant pass on the Sandusky incident because of Joe Pa and FB. It is good to keep a healthy disdain for them. They currently have one of their grads being a rising star on ESPN (Katie Feeney) lots of positive press for PSU and she seems like a nice kid, but my 1st thought was why did a nice person like that go to PSU.
But if something similar would happen at ISU I would still want my relatives to go to the institution and want the program that was child rapers burnt to the ground. If ISU FB had done that, I would have been good with it being totally dissolved for 1 yr then start over with a clean slate after that. Nothing even similar to that happened to PSU.
I'd want good people to go there and make sure something like that could never happen again.

Because NIL isn't NIL it is donations and pay to play. If you have a long-term budget that had donations as part of the budget and a 22ish million a year extra expense is rapidly thrust upon you by a settlement you had no say in, you need those donations more than ever. If you merely shift those donations over to a "NIL" fund, the donations directly to the athletic department will plummet and deficits will be larger. But "amateur student athletes" who will just bolt the next year for ever-bigger checks will be richer, far richer than 90+% of those being begged to donate. They of course will never give back themselves because the over whelming majority will blow the money young, but at least they will have their almost complete communications degree with 100 level credits from 5 universities to fall back on. Great system we have. I'm not really sure congress could mess it up, anything would be better.
