The second round of Big 12 games was enlightening. What do we know and where to now?

I used to peruse your "articles" when you wrote them in a post on CF. I'm curious as to why you've taken your thoughts offsite - I'm not inclined to go to an unknown website. JMHO.

It’s just a Wordpress site. Basically a blog hosting site.

Anything can happen, but I would currently put my money on TCU winning the conference maybe even by a few games. ISU hasn’t really impressed so far in conference season.

CW, should be thanking you for doing the heavy lifting in WBB, between you Boxter and Geewago and some other posters are WBB forum is pretty damn solid IMO.

Made it easier to keep track of my writing versus being beholden to a site that I don’t control. Easier to format. Easier to add media if I want. Also makes it easy for you to see it all in one place.

Just click on it brings you right back when done. JarLars articles are usually somewhere else also.

ISU has a lot of hanging questions as of this point in time. Losing Beaty hurt. Sunday should tell us something.

I appreciate the regulars here. Mostly good conversations without too much drama (unless it’s one of two topics).

I also appreciate CW and crew devoting some resources to covering the WBB team more recently as I’m sure the return on investment is iffy.

You’re obviously a good dude - you see the best in everything! Boxster keeps WBB in good order and shares interesting observations. I’d opine the two most knowledgeable posters are mred and the shadow, neither of whom post often enough for my liking. I also enjoy the insight of other team’s fans. I wish more fans were active in the WBB forum!!!

At this time I'm not too surprised at where things are in the race. I knew Tech would be a little better this year with an improved lineup. I also knew that Molly Miller would make ASU better no matter who she had on the floor. She was able to get a couple of decent players out of the portal at the last minute and has really excelled so far. I don't think she has the power to run with the top 4 of the conference but give her two more years to build and it may get awesome out there.

Sunday in Ames I don't know what to expect. I would think ISU should win by at least 6 if they play their game 4 full quarters. Slack off for one quarter and it could be disastrous especially if that quarter is the 4th one. Which is exactly what OSU did. I doubt they'll have another 4th quarter that bad this year. Taliah Scott missed 4 three pointers but got fouled (3 times by the same girl) and she converted those 12 free throws into 11 points. That's the game right there. If you decide at the last minute to run like a torpedo straight at someone who is already in shooting form and then leap as high as you can to try to block the shoot and wind up straight in their lap when you land I guess you deserve to lose. That was dumber than dumb.
