New Holland fixed that by putting another half rotor on the unbalanced side to even things out . . . .Have you seen the one about CaseIH building a solar powered combine? They show a 2144 driving around, harvesting etc and not one solar panel can be seen, top side or bottom. Evidently the solar panels were all placed under the sheet metal where all the sunlight is. They also claimed the Twin Rotor New Holland was an utter failure because they couldn't get the combine to feed evenly. One rotor was always getting more of the crop than the other, thus it would cause a vibration that shook the combine up.
