Sherrone Moore Fired

No, but if you are suicidal and someone calls, police will show up and take you so you don’t harm yourself.

Interesting, that's not what happened with a friend of mine. They just took her gun, took it apart, gave it to me (even though I said I didn't want it), asked her if she was going to be ok and then left.

If he used threats and coercion to get her to get an abortion there are laws against that. Not sure I've ever heard of anyone getting arrested for it, but it depends how far the behavior goes I guess. Definitely going to be massive lawsuits against him and the university.
It’s not for that that he’s being arrested but again is another good reason not to be posting the girls picture everywhere

You are determined to make Sherrone Moore the victim in this for some reason.

Is suicide a crime in itself? No - but combine that with "altercation with wife" and that can quickly escalate to murder/suicide, which wouldn't be ideal in the least.

No I am not, I just was asking a question.

So if there are only 10 bowl games you feel it is just as much of an accomplishment to make a bowl game if there are 50 bowl games??

Why do you feel so strongly Iowa State should play a meaningless bowl game this year?
Because I dont think it is meaningless. I dont think it is any more meaningless than the insight bowl we played in 20+ years ago. A bowl this year has similar meaning to the Fiesta bowl a handful of years ago. We werent going to the playoff, we werent going to the championship. It was an exhibition game, for the team for the fans to celebrate the season, and put a cap on it, as a reward for their work.

Keep in mind it was also a chance to get to 9 wins, something ISU has rarely done.

Not to mention costing us significant money, that I was told we didnt have.

Why do you feal so strongly that ISU should let players quit on the team, the fans, the conference, and not fulfill its obligations?

It is if you break into your assistants house and threaten his wife at the same time.

Sounds like a complete narcissistic mental breakdown
His assistants wife or was moores wife at the assistants house?

You didn’t give any explanation to WHY these bowl games matter other than Iowa State not being fined

Thanks. Sorry buddy. These bowl games are indeed meaningless. Hence why the players didn’t want to play

It’s considered a crime in some places so the police have the authority to detain you/keep you from harming yourself.

1. Because there were far fewer bowls in 1970 compared to now - 10 in 1970, compared to 35 this year, and that's not counting the 6 BCS bowls that now comprise the quarter and semifinals.

2. There was no "consensus" national champion in 1970, nor any year before 2014, when they started doing the playoff - it was whatever the numerous polls decided. And while the AP would always be viewed as the most credible, with dozens claiming national champions, you could end up with numerous teams claimed national champions. It's how Iowa and Oklahoma State can "rightfully" each claim national championships, even if the rest of the CFB world laughs at them. And while the Liberty Bowl probably never had the opportunity to determine a potential national champion by a team winning their game, because there were far fewer bowl games, it just mattered more because there was almost never a game that outright determined a national champion..
So the liberty bowl that we went to in the 70s.... if we would have won could have been for a national championship? NO

And there have been more bowls for a long time. If you are saying that bowls havent mattered since there was only 10 bowls then they havent mattered for a LOOOONG time.

The liberty bowl meant nothing as far as finishing the season as the champion back then just as it does today.
Most of the bowls in history had nothing to do with the national champion, just as most do not today.

Why do we ever go to a bowl then, if it is such a waste of time, I mean its not like those players that wanted to stay and play didnt deserve to be able to, and its not like those wanting to stay at ISU, could not use the practice and game experience especially if they are going to play meaningful time next year.

We are trying to discuss:

1. A hot staffer get boned by a coach
2. Her aborting or Plan Bing it via Doordash
3. Coach breaking into a house
4. Coach threatening suicide

No one in this thread wants to introduce a bowl game twist to this juicy soap opera
