Why does auto correct keep making Rogers Roger’s
Can you see the interview when they ask what questions he has and he hits them with, “What’s the tail like up there?”
That was my first thought. Could you imagine him in Washington? Nobody would understand a word that came out of his mouth.
The best was when he was interim coach at USC. Him saying "Fight On" with that accent always made me laugh.
Fun fact: during the time I was at Wazzu, we went through four football coaches in four years

Warren Powers, from Nebraska (DB coach) and left the next year for Missouri.
Jim Walden, who came from Miami FL (DC coach) to be an assistant coach under Powers, and assumed the HC after Powers bolted. Walden actually stayed for 8 years before being hired away by Iowa State.
And no, I didn't remember all of that - I remembered the names and where they went after us, but I had to wiki the rest. Just a couple of ties between WSU and ISU there.
All of this is just one way to say quit your whining, Cougs - it could be (and HAS been) worse!

when we moved here from the Bay Area, I was trying to rent a UHaul, but the girl couldn't find a drop off locations in Ames. So I tried Des Moines, and there was STILL no drop off. Hard to believe the capital of Iowa didn't have UHaul drop offs. Finally figured out she was looking in Ohio. Note - this was before the internet (1982).
