That's one of the big perks in hiring an established coach who has done it someplace else. Guys like Paul Rhoads struggle in part because of it being their first job but also because they are trying to put together a culture on the fly.

He does give me a Campbell/TJ vibe in his focus on details. His answers have depth in that regard.

One rare talent the Campbell staff had was in player evaluation. They found and signed guys that routinely played above their star rating here. If CJR is going to be successful here, he has to be able to do that well.

This guy is awesome. He would be a great coach to play for.
