Players in, Players out

No, I’ve seen no announcements since Q Taylors on Friday

CW is reporting that Heacock, Clanton and Hoodjer are heading to PSU
Will be interesting to see how well the PSU fans like opposing QB's to have 3 hours in the pocket just waiting for a receiver to break open while they rush only 3.

On the defensive side, no idea what Jimmy is planning, but I trust him based on track record. Offensive side, here's what I'm hoping for:

QB - Manske stays
RB - Sama/Flora are the 1/2. Assuming Hansen/Lee are gone.
WR - Sowell and Eskildsen stay; Griffin Wilde and Carter Pabst come in.
TE - No idea, but I'm guessing we go away from the 3 TE packages.

We have a lot of good TE's IMO... not too worried there... would have to lose a lot of them.

You’re expecting well thought out and reasoned posts?

If they can get dudes to PSU they'll be able to run a more traditional defense.

you insinuating that all the years Heacock was here.... our secondary sucked and needed help?

No unless you just want to apply your own hyperbole to make it so.

ISU wasn't exactly D-line or LB-U outside of McDonald and were largely successful by playing in a unique way for opponents to prep for which is likely why they stuck with it.

You can look it up yourself that ISU started in a traditional set under CMC/Heacock before playing around with the 3/cloud in 2017 and making it a thing officially at OU.

Honestly, I expect a lot of our younger Midwest Iowa talent stays. Manske family have been diehard Cyclones for a long time. But you never know. Money might be tempting. CMC got his bag
Serious question here but how much is a freshman backup QB who hasn’t seen any serious snaps going to be worth? Not saying he’s in or out but I can’t imagine the NIL money is big for this.

I'm not positive... but I'm guessing we'd both be surprised how much Manske or Moberly could get.

My dream list is just to keep Manske, one of the top 4 RB, and Eskildsen. That’d be a home run

We all know the time is quickly coming where we are going to lose many players. Good, bad or ugly, it's going to happen. My biggest question is who will Rogers bring with him and is that a good thing? WSU is pretty much bottom of the barrel. Admittedly, I have not watched them at all and have no idea how good their roster actually is. Is there any way we can keep some starters in Ames? I feel like if we hired Mouser or Becht, we could have probably counted on returning 50%+. But I don't have any idea with Rogers what to expect. Anyone have any insight on this?
Seriously? I stopped there as I realized this was a doucher post.
