Finalized Quarter-Final schedule:

It's kinda hard to not root for the Illinois State Redbirds at this point after taking down the Bison, BUT Im really wanting to see a UC Davis vs Tarleton State semi final. That game might be like 41-38 or even more points

I follow USD Coyotes primarily and I gotta say I was impressed with the offenses of both teams last year in the playoffs vs the Coyotes in rounds 2 and 3. UC Davis' QB is pretty epic. Plays out of control at times, and reminds me of Kyler Murray. Really enjoyed watching him play last weekend. Haven't seen Tarleton this year, but they have scored at least 31 points in every game.

I don't know what to make of the Coyotes at this point. They do seem hot as anyone in the FCS and have a big time receiver in Fenner, but I'm having trouble getting sold on them. With that said, great job by the new coaching staff to turn a nightmare season into hitting the quarterfinals. Bouman came back to play in these rounds. Too bad a bunch of his teammates decided to jump ship last spring. If they hadn't left, this team might be hosting games this weekend and next weekend.

I didn't realize South Dakota was still alive. I assumed they fell off. That's cool.

Villanova take their 1st lead of the day 26-21 with 12:49 left in the game. On ESPN.

Just ridiculous that FCS has a playoff bonanza day with teams playing based on standings.

Top half of the bracket blown all to hell.

Semifinal next week will be #12 Villanova against either #8 UC Davis or unseeded Illinois State.

Griz vs. Bobcats Part 2 coming it appears...24-0 Montana 4 minutes left in 2nd Qtr.

Eh, gimme the Montana Grizzlies on the road and Villanova to win at home this week. With that said, feel free to wager your life savings the other way and take the Bobcats and Redbirds. Fun fact the Illinois State Redbirds were part of the last 4 into the playoffs, Incredible run!

I think we're in for a couple great semi-final games. I think the winner of Montana/Montana St absolutely rolls in championship game by 21 points or more. Hope I'm wrong. Villanova and ISU are playing grind it out styles. Both QBs have warts from an ability and performance standpoint. Im not sure I can trust their offenses when the Montana schools start to rack up yards and points.

It's a small sample size in the playoffs, but the Griz are playing super hot right now, and that's why I'm picking them. I realize they lost the rivalry game vs the Bobcats at home this year. Fun Fact, the road team going back to the 2019 Match-up got smoked in this Montana series. This year the Bobcats won close on the road to break that trend.

The Jackrabbits beat the Montana St Bobcats in week 2 at Bozeman. 30-24 in 2OTs. Bobcats only scored 17 in regulation. Clearly a strong defense can slow down these Montana schools, but both are in prime form offensively right now. Don't see either team being able to run with the Montanas.
