*15 minutes left in the game....Well come Thursday we'll see if Stirtz is the best point guard in the state like media likes to claim. Personally I hope Tamin and Toure beat him like a rented mule.
McCollum is amazing, blah, blah, blah TJ is the best coach in this entire state since he came back.
I hope we bury the Hawks so bad their crappy fan base is leaving Hilton with 5 minutes left in the game.
Michigan State shut Stirtz down fairly easy. Not worriedWell come Thursday we'll see if Stirtz is the best point guard in the state like media likes to claim. Personally I hope Tamin and Toure beat him like a rented mule.

This is the best Cyclones basketball team I have ever laideyes on.
My expectation is simply that we win the next game. And each next game subsequently until we run out of games. This seems reasonable.I think we can throw managing any expectations out the window.

We are significantly better this yearWe were just as good last year until the injuries. Hopefully we are full strength going into March.

I think we're much deeper this year though. We were just as good last year until the injuries. Hopefully we are full strength going into March.
What a drag! They talked about us as Duke and Sparty go down to the wire. Some form of respect out there yet again.
But now we have to spend the season hearing and knowing that we have Final Four potential, again.
Yeah, but Houston was missing one of their best players and weren't interested in competing after the first 10 minutes. To me, this was a more impressive win.I don't know - to me what we did to Houston still tops that. Yeah, road game vs neutral court... but that Houston team would have run circles around this Purdue team... and that was when Houston's players finally understood what Sampson was saying when he warned them they didn't want any of ISU in KC.
Not sure how you could come to that conclusion. Maybe, maybe not. Fizer was the most dominant player in the game, and Tinsley controlled every game. Our guards were tough as nails. It isn't like that team didn't have NBA talent.Different eras, but this team would torch that LE team.
Last yrs team never really looked this IMO, the offensive and defensive are both just so fluid.
I'm almost afraid to say it but right now this team has that feeling of the Niang broken foot yr team, where they just will find a way to win. Lots of players that are willing to do whatever it takes to get the win.Yeah, I don't know if last year's team was as good or not. It sure might have been. And to be fair, they were so beat up by the end of the year that they didn't seem great.
But there's just something different about this team. One thing I always said about the last few teams is you looked at them and watched them play and you never quite understood how they were good. You knew they were good because of the results, but most of the time I watched and I didn't see a top 25 or top 15 team, even though they were.
THIS team so far looks the part. Since the Thanksgiving tournament I watch them play and I'm like "yep, they're really good".

We are much more balanced offensively. We have 6 guys you can't leave on the perimeter. We're making the defense move and attacking closeouts as opposed to forcing drives into a set defense. Momcilovic's game the last 5 games is the ceiling raiser. Defenses are scrambling to cover him. Toure is already an elite defensive guard and starting to bring some shooting. The pieces are just a better fit and producing a more free flowing game on offense while maintaining or exceeding the defensive effort. Our guys compete hard on the boards.Yeah, I don't know if last year's team was as good or not. It sure might have been. Until they prove otherwise, the LE team is the best in Iowa State history. You know must not have followed that team because they were tough as nails. I “hope” this team proves me wrong!Different eras, but this team would torch that LE team.
Can you delete your signature pleaseI've got some words: we're for real. Nuts team.
