I honestly don't have words...

Well come Thursday we'll see if Stirtz is the best point guard in the state like media likes to claim. Personally I hope Tamin and Toure beat him like a rented mule.

McCollum is amazing, blah, blah, blah TJ is the best coach in this entire state since he came back.

I hope we bury the Hawks so bad their crappy fan base is leaving Hilton with 5 minutes left in the game.
*15 minutes left in the game....

Michigan State shut Stirtz down fairly easy. Not worried

I don't know - to me what we did to Houston still tops that. Yeah, road game vs neutral court... but that Houston team would have run circles around this Purdue team... and that was when Houston's players finally understood what Sampson was saying when he warned them they didn't want any of ISU in KC.
Yeah, but Houston was missing one of their best players and weren't interested in competing after the first 10 minutes. To me, this was a more impressive win.

Last yrs team never really looked this IMO, the offensive and defensive are both just so fluid.

Yeah, I don't know if last year's team was as good or not. It sure might have been. And to be fair, they were so beat up by the end of the year that they didn't seem great.

But there's just something different about this team. One thing I always said about the last few teams is you looked at them and watched them play and you never quite understood how they were good. You knew they were good because of the results, but most of the time I watched and I didn't see a top 25 or top 15 team, even though they were.

THIS team so far looks the part. Since the Thanksgiving tournament I watch them play and I'm like "yep, they're really good".

I'm almost afraid to say it but right now this team has that feeling of the Niang broken foot yr team, where they just will find a way to win. Lots of players that are willing to do whatever it takes to get the win.

It doesn't hurt that we've been on an historic heater of a streak since the Creighton game. That's 4 games in a row where we just demolished our opponents.

We are much more balanced offensively. We have 6 guys you can't leave on the perimeter. We're making the defense move and attacking closeouts as opposed to forcing drives into a set defense. Momcilovic's game the last 5 games is the ceiling raiser. Defenses are scrambling to cover him. Toure is already an elite defensive guard and starting to bring some shooting. The pieces are just a better fit and producing a more free flowing game on offense while maintaining or exceeding the defensive effort. Our guys compete hard on the boards.
