Matt Campbell to Penn State??

Feeling it for CW. But short of ISU firing him or him retiring 25 years from now, this was always how this was going to end.

We're not cyclones because it's easy. We're cyclones because it's awesome.

I love us but we’re broke compared to what Penn state is offering, I can’t blame him

Man, it really seems like something might have gone down between JP, Blum, and CMC with this all happening so quickly. If ISU already has a coach, either that negotiation/search was extremely short or they knew in advance and Sitake only turned down Penn State like three days ago.

If the report is true that ISU has a replacement already lined up, then Pollard has known for a couple of days that Campbell was leaving or at least thinking very hard about taking the Penn State job, and had already starting reaching out to find a replacement.
Campbell took the program to new heights while here, but also left that feeling that there should have done more.
Who knows how many of the returning players will stick around, have to hope most will give the new coach a chance, and just not jump into the portal.

WSU went 6-6 this year playing a mountain west schedule. Obviously he was amazing at SDSU. I doubt WSU has any serious BXII level talent that he can take with him

What the hell is a Mountain West schedule? It's basically like Simpson.

Think Iowa football.... WSU was worse offensively this year than Iowa somehow... but a top 20 defense. Boring football may be in store? I hope not.

I do like that he's young though, that's a major plus for me.
