Matt Campbell to Penn State??

These are the times that make me miss the old days of college football. Everything is just about dollars now and nothing else it seems like.
A lot of little boys don't miss the old days at Pedo State. I can't imagine cheering for a school whose leadership for prioritizing football success over protecting children. Honestly, even if Penn State found a cure for cancer, I'd still hate them!

This is exactly correct. Just now a Michigan State donor donated $401 Million dollars, $290 million of which is going to the athletic department and $100 million to a NIL initiative. I can't imagine having this much money, let alone choosing to donate it to an athletic program.

For reference the Ivy family donated $50 million to the college of business and that was enough to rename it in their honor.
I swear it feels like we are the only P4 program that doesn't have at least one, if not more than one, extravagantly wealthy booster.

I would prefer he take an NFL job. That way at least he can't take the best of the roster along with him.
My prediction is he would encourage players to fulfill their commitments. Or they can choose to enter the portal and he and his staff would evaluate them the same as any other potential transfer.

If I were a player...I wouldn't like hearing that...if I were a player...I was committing to Matt Campbell's program at Iowa State. What would those kids owe a new coach and staff?

He would not do that. He has a new job to do. He’d take the ones he wanted.

I don’t think anyone is specifically referring to you. However, I personally know four or five ISU fans with net worth exceeding $5 million that don’t contribute a thing. Consequently, the people who Rochlone are out there.

Your not the problem, why are you trying to portray like it is?

I don't think it's clear at all that people aren't referring to people like me.

And further, I think it's preposterous on principle that they want to impose an even larger surcharge on every student at ISU to support athletics. Am I the problem now?

Will CMC leave? Who knows? I don't think he's done here. I don't think he's even close to reaching what he knows he can still accomplish here. Look at his class he just signed. Think of what this season could've been without the avalanche of injuries. Lots of momentum & achievable goals left at ISU for CMC. On top of that the Fact remains that his gig at Iowa States is his as long as he wants it. His family reportedly likes it here & it's not like he isn't getting paid. The pay might be less than some other schools but it lasts a lot longer here. Go Clones!!

If he compares to his peers he is underpaid, if he compares to the world he is one of the richest, top 1% in the world.

$0? Wrong. They bought tickets, parking passes, meals, corn dogs, merch, gas, etc.
The culture of Cyclone athletics, because it hasn't been a consistent winner over a long period of time, is not associative for our fans. It is participatory.
