Matt Campbell to Penn State??

Are you saying Penn State's hiring of Matt Campbell or ISU keeping Campbell when Penn State fans were starting to think they maybe had got him will end up being WW3's equivalent of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria?

Asking for a friend.
Penn State, Epstein Files….do your own ReSeArCH!

Just off the top of my head, candidates I wouldn't mind:
Nate Scheelhaase
Matt Entz
Ryan Grubb
Dan Mullen (kind of an odd fit here though, and I'm surprised he isn't being linked to some of the 'bigger' jobs)
Sean Lewis
I would add Jason Eck to that list as well. Has done a very good job at both Idaho & New Mexico. Wisconsin alum like Sean Lewis so guessing Jamie is familiar with both.

Soooo... what'd I miss? I wasn't aware we were bringing back the CMC leaving post again. Did I miss something? I've been busy slaving away with my stupid a$$ job.

I disagree. I think there is a lot of Joe Paterno DNA at Penn State still and there was no bigger process guy than Joe. I agree with his:
"Matt Campbell is a stud as a head coach," Pate said last month. "I think he is perfectly cut out for the Penn State job. The edge, the grit, the attention to detail, the different way you have to sell Penn State... Everything you would want in a Penn State coach, he has." https://www.newsweek.com/sports/nca...or-ignoring-prime-coaching-candidate-11145527
It's hard to see why they wouldn't offer Campbell the job.
Then why wasn’t he their first choice?

Honestly Ive been thinking were on the brink of a major cataclysm for some time WW3/disclosure/economic disaster, not sure this matters.
Yep, bring on the nukes and aliens. If I'm stuck on the ****** timeline, might as well make it interesting.
