Great opportunity for Jacob Frost to show he is deserving of the spot assuming most of the ranked guys wrestle. Larkin, McNeil, Gioffre, Joy, Evans, and Valencia are all tough.

Great opportunities for our guys. Particularly interested in 125-157 and if we can beat any of the guys ranked ahead of us.

Also interested to see if MJ can keep his momentum going.

If Euton is unable to go with his bum ankle, are we thinking we'd send Riggins?
Bummer that Euton got hobbled.

Regardless of his Caliendo result, I thought this tournament would be a great opportunity for him to make a name for himself.

I think I read or heard a statement that Rocky asked to go to Vegas. I think that's great if he does. It means he's feeling as good as he looked :)

If he does, he could end up wrestling a former teammate which could be fun!

I hope MJ can show up and show out. Him beating kennedy is no fluke in my mind the potential to be top 5 has always been there. looks so much stronger this year. 197 rademacher is an interesting match for rocky. dean and mantanona should be fun too! lots to look forword to!

Coach Metcalf was on the coach's show with John Walters last night and said Euton likely isn't going to Vegas. Nice to have Riggins ready to go.

@RHBVClone . Any other information/comments from Metcalf?
Not really. Was mostly going through the Iowa dual. The subject of depth came up, and that's when he mentioned it.

You can find it under the Iowa State CyCast wherever you get your podcasts. It's the most recent episode.

A decent peek behind the curtain, but ISU wrestling sickos won't learn much from it. Worth a listen though.

Wrestling: We want to grow the sport and we need exposure to do so.

Also wrestling: Our premiere in-season events are on Flo. Ridiculously expensive and hard to cancel.
$15 is not ridiculously expensive. And guess what ESPN doesn’t want this event. Flo will promote this like crazy and sell all the storylines.

There is simply not a better place for this event to be on.

Right.

You want to be on the platform with 900,000 subscribers (and that includes ALL of their verticals (yay cheerleading!)), not the one with 24 million. ESPN would gladly take it but they aren't going to pay production costs.

It's $15 a month if you want to buy a full year up front. It's $30 if you want to go monthly.
