Gotta let it go my guy. The posts say what they say.

And hopefully you're put in a time out for posting what you did with no citation.

Saying 'I wish X player would play more or ISU would run more' are different than 'CMC played a concussed player'.

I would be embarrassed if I posted something like that but, you do you.

If speculation/opinion is ban-worthy, that’s going to knock out 99% of the posters on this board. If you have medical reports available showing that I’m wrong, feel free to provide them.

No, no, no, you're contending, without evidence, that your position is correct. Prove the point that you raised, do not ask others do disprove what you cannot prove. IMHO, that's a cowardly reaction.

He’s been playing hurt, the full story will come out at the end of the season I’m sure. The original poster is a complete effing idiot. How does everyone not have LAClone blocked?!

Great point. He becomes my 4th blocked poster. I won't tolerate those whom I believe lack judgment.

If some of you think this is a “below average” WR group, you have a very short memory.

Below average in terms of Higgins and Noel, sure. The previous fifty years or so of Cyclone wideouts? Nah.

And Rocco’s injury(s?) and communication issues with new faces didn’t help any.

Still wasn’t on the same page with at least one pass today.

Stop, this WR room is average at best.

As I’ve already stated, mere lay speculation/opinion based on what I saw.

When medical issues are concerned, you rely on lay opinion? If so, why do you seek medical testing and other assessment when you believe you have a medical problem?

You do not make sense, do you?

Knowingly playing a concussed player violates a ton of safety standards set up and will get you fired. I know that’s what you want for CMC, but still, that’s different than having an opinion on how he handles his clock management, pass/run ratio, or substitution patterns.

You also stated your concussion stance as a fact, not an opinion.

If you are going to make claims like this, you come with the receipts. Don’t expect us to come with them, since it didn’t happen, there is nothing to report on.

He took a hard hit to the head, was immediately returned to the field, and played completely differently for that game and the next three/four. That is evidence, regardless of whether you personally interpret it differently.

It's Rocco's job to lose. If Manske or Moberly happen to push him a little some competition is never a bad thing. During our losing skid I wondered if we should have played Manske a series or 2 to try and get a spark in the offense with a different look but at no point did I ever think Rocco needed to be benched. He definitely was not the same guy after taking that hard it against Cincy so it sure feels like that was the moment in the season that if he got injured explains the drop in production from that point if he was hurt worse than we all know.

I saw a hard hit to the QB involving the head during the Cincinnati game, and the QB coming right back in and playing very off for the next four games. This is not rocket science.

Just because it's a "hard hit" doesn't mean it'd be a concussion.

And trust me on this, Coberly isn't going to let someone who has a concussion go back in the game.

Well now you're making more things up unless you think a shoulder is a head.

Has anyone from the staff or media ever confirmed Rocco was playing hurt? This board has established this narrative because he took a big hit in the Cincy game and hasn't played up to expectations. But I don't think there has ever been an official report on that. And honestly, Rocco wasn't living up to expectations before Cincy, but people don't remember that as well because we were still finding ways to win in spite of shaky QB play. Lots of, hey how amazing is this team to win despite Rocco not being on his game, sky is the limit!

To me that influences the answer. If he was hurt, the job is his. If he was healthy, then there could and should be some competition.

Matt Campbell confirmed during a press conference I believe.
