I took the day off to meal prep for Thanksgiving, and was curious to see what other people are cooking. My menu for my family is:

1. Turkey breast
2. Smoked brisket
3. Mac and cheese
4. Stuffing
5. Green bean casseroles
6. Chocolate pecan cobbler
7. Cornbread

Other people are bringing mashed potatoes and appetizers.

We always have a hodgepodge of food and snacks and not all that traditional.

Grilled/marinated flank steak
Homemade Chick-fil-a knock off breaded chicken (it's actually WAY better than theirs)
Mashed potatoes with a **** ton of butter and cream
Homemade mac and cheese
Grilled Veggies
Homemade dinner rolls
French silk pie

Homemade Chex Mix (two kinds)
Hamburger Cheese Dip
Cookies
Chips and dip
Various meats and cheeses and crackers

We are in the middle of a kitchen renovation due to a city water main break causing a flood in August. I think we're making sandwiches. But we did buy a couple Costco pies.

I lobbied for Prime Rib a few years ago and now it's my staple!! When it comes to Holiday food, I get my way.
The Prime Rib and Lasagna both sound amazing. Then you listed green bean casserole after that. Doesn't really fit with the first two items.

Do you have a go-to recipe for the flank steak marinade? Grilled flank steak is one of our regular summer/spring meals, I just use a simple soy/balsamic vinegar/minced garlic marinade, sometimes add in some dijon mustard, but that's it. Flank steak is one of those that absolutely needs a marinade. Would be interested in what you use for a marinade.

Well it's actually kind of an asian marinade but it's legit so good. Soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, chili garlic paste.

NOTE: all measured with your heart lol
