Syracuse played tough against Kansas and took Houston to overtime. They can win a lot games this year and could potentially be a quad 1 opponent for us on our schedule when all said and done.

Sucks we miss out on bonus money, but we still get the bigger check for being in the tournament.

From what I could gather, the top 4 teams get the championship and 3rd place on Wednesday. The bottom 3 and UNLV (if not in the top 4) get their 3rd game on Thursday. Everyone else got paired up on Wednesday based on when they played on Tuesday.

The point differential thing is garbage. Kansas may have won both games by 22 points, but we played a ranked team and Creighton. Kansas played ND and Syracuse. With the cupcake tournament schedule Kansas had, we could have easily covered the 22 points. Sucks that this is the way it ended up for us. Hopefully Kansas loses and only ends up with 2 quad 1 wins in the tourney. We can get 3 quad 1 wins as Syracuse looks like they could be a solid team this year.

I don't think Syracuse is a cupcake and I'm not sure if Creighton is going to be much if former Fran players are contributing.
