Nice summary acoustimac. Thought the end of the bench played well in their time especially on D. We showed out well I'm guessing 25 to 30% Clone fans of course there was the Hawkeye Tshirt fan there (yes it was a actual Tshirt) New score boards since I'd been to the Knapp Center. The lower bowl sold out but there was plenty of seating in the balcony. Went to the GA side with seat backs row 7 basically center court good enough for me. The 1st half was great but a qtr like thie 3rd against a good team will probably leave us with a L. I've been to enough Drake-ISU games that I got a little de jevu in the 3rd luckily we had a big enough lead it was ok. The Drake crowd did a nice job of coming to life in the 3rd.
It was our 1st road trip we got out with a respectable win for anyone just checking the final score. Gives the coaches plenty to work with for improvement points onward and upward.

After last night the Cy-Hawk game should be a good test for both teams. I think we have an improved team this year but we haven't been tested yet by a team that could be playing in the NCAA tournament.

It's going to be interesting to see how the backup PG minutes will be distributed if Wilson keeps this up. I felt like she had some potential last year from what we saw but appears to have taken a good step forward this year and could eat into Beaty's minutes some. She just has a motor and energy when she's on the floor IMO.

Other than end of game minutes Wilson has come in at the two guard with either Williams or Beaty which has fit her skill set better. Her lack of physicality and she is not a great ball handler so playing the point against quality competition will be limited. But she does bring energy and can make shots so she has earned some minutes at the two.
