Why do we always see the "not a Fennelly favorite" in these threads. Has anyone heard him say anything negative about any of the players? Has anyone seen a reason that Tanke should be moved up the pecking order of the subs? Anyone know if she was ill or had something going on? Geesh...come on.
I heard she won't play until message board posters get her name right.
Tanke was dressed for the game, but never made it in. Haven't heard of any injury issues. It's odd, for sure. But zero reason to the naked eye(li) as to why she saw zero minutes.
She is last off the Bench. She will see very few minutes. Name 1 person on this team She should play ahead of?
Not sure about her but he does have favorites.
i have noticed a tendency to play the better players over the weaker ones.
What a novel concept
It is odd that she didn't play at the end of the game in a blowout win where everyone else played. She started at times last year. I'm sure there is a reason, but none of us know what it is.
Bill always has favorites, but I doubt Tanke is in the dog house. It is odd she didn't play late in the game, but I'm sure there is a simple reason that isn't a conspiracy.
Yes, it is when all the other bench players are in for extended minutes at the end of the game and Tanke sees zero floor time.
Maybe she has not developed and struggles playing defense and the staff is sending her a message, you are not going to play much, if you want to accept that and stay you have that right, but if you want to play, its not going to happen here.
I wondered why she didn’t get in at the end. I wonder if the rotation would have taken A. Willey out, moved LT to the 5 and gotten Tanke in; but they noticed how close Williams was to a double double so they let her get it.
We can all guess about reasons and rationale and unless we are part of the team we won’t know. Personally I hope she develops into a solid player for Iowa state.
Who cares if the bottom of the bench is getting minutes. This isn’t church league. They were told after last season they weren’t gonna get many minutes. They know what they signed up for. Hell, I wish Beaty stayed in to get more reps like Paulk did.
Seems to me she's a tad slow, especially on the defensive side. If she's not hitting threes, which she's been terrible at so far, she could be seen as a liability.
