Fall Fertilizing question

I don't think so. I believe the grass should have stopped growing when it is put down, but not sure. I put mine down about 2 weeks ago and wondered if it was a tad early since grass was still growing but it slowed down now.

Soil temps are in the mid 40s so you are not too late at all.

I think you aim for the time between the first frost and the ground freezing. So probably OK.

You can seed in the winter. Obviously fall is the best time, but you’re good.

It's not going to do anything this fall, it's for next year anyway.

Some people swear by the idea that now is the best time of the year to over seed after we get a snow on the ground. When the snow melts this time of year, it takes the grass seed down into the ground with it and improves coverage in the spring.
