David Montgomery and his Sister

I’ve shared this before but I worked for the football team in college, specifically the RB’s my senior year (David’s sophomore year) and was also next door neighbors with him that year. There’s nothing fake about him, just a legitimately good dude.

I know he's deeply involved in the community and an all around good dude. Big ups to this guy and he's also a pretty darn good NFL running back. He'd be an RB1 on 80% of the teams in the league, but he still puts up better numbers than most RB1's as an RB2.

He's also currently in a perfect situation in Detroit; they're generally good, he's a complimentary piece to mix it up with his other RB, who also seems like someone who's a good teammate, and since they split carries it's less wear and tear to maybe extend the career to another good contract.

Agree 110% re: wear n tear.
His mileage in Ames was high. As much as I hated to see David leave early...glad he did, for his and family's sake.
Gibbs might be the best thing ever, in terms of prolonging David's career....and damn, Gibbs is fun to watch!
