Would you rather sellout at $40 and listen to people ***** about no passes available or be at 80% capacity@$70?I assume by selling the GA passes as they do now, the AD sells out the GA lots for every game, and from the AD's perspective, that's what they want. And, of course, they can also say that if you want to tailgate, then donate, buy season tickets, and get your season parking pass.
This year's GA parking prices have kept me away from games. Loved tailgating in my donor days, and always bought GA parking for the 2-3 games a year we would attend once we gave up our season tickets. Now the team appears to be the best it has ever been, and I tailgate in my kitchen.
There is no way prices stay this high on Saturday. If nobody is buying the prices will plummet.
