***2025 Week 4 (Sept.18-Sept. 20) CFB Games Thread***

You think a few people from the ISU fanbase is going to make a difference?
At some point you have to realize that without a major, disruptive uprising, your efforts don’t mean ****. I vote because I love that I have that right being a US citizen - I exercise my right b/c I believe in the ideal. That ideal is long gone. Technology and concentration of wealth and power absolutely dictate the macro economics and control of our world.

Coming back to watching SEC and Big10 games. I don’t seek them out, but it’s college football and I still like to kid myself that it’s young adults playing sports and trying to win and learning life lessons. I played sports as a kid, I still play sports. If there’s a competitive SEC or Big10 game I’ll tune in and I’m not going to feel bad about doing that.

If OU had 11 players on the field, that screw up is on Auburn.

I’m pretty sure players aren’t allowed to go outside the numbers faking a substitution and stay on the field. From my reading that’s a clearly illegal play.

My reading might be wrong, I’m not a huge rules expert, but that outside the numbers thing I think is right.

Indiana is shredding one of the best defenses in the country. I just don’t see how Iowa stops them consistently enough to beat them. Unless Indiana somehow just overlooks them and Iowa takes advantage of that.

I am not a rule expert either but if he never left the field (I couldn’t tell in the posted video) it seems like he is just lining up for the next play.

Again, I don’t know much about lining up outside the numbers. frankly, never heard of it.

I think this goes to show they really should not have pre season rankings. I wouldnt mind if they didnt come out with the first rankings week 3 or 4

I think pollsters and the committee are having a really hard time coming to grips with the fact that the ACC and the Pac 12 are/were just objectively worse at football than this new Big 12.

The ACC is getting absolutely demolished by the new Big 12 head to head but you'd think the ACC was better by looking at polling.

Utah was a top 2 team in the old Pac...so they have to be awesome in this Big 12 right? Nope.
All that matters is whether you have a couple of blue bloods. Miami and FSU will continue to prop up their perception, while Clemson foes into a free fall.

Definitely illegal.

If he participated in the previous down, he has to be inside the top of the numbers (i.e. the "nine-yard marks") before the next snap. 5-yard penalty.
