Admittedly I am surprised at the offensive play calling. I have absolutely NO issue with using this week as a test for a few things, try certain things, or hell even just do the basic "run our base stuff". But it's been objectively a poorly called game. Like, we look unprepared. And I totally get it - it is hot. It's been a LONG 3 weeks. They are definitely tired. Totally understandable. But even with that said, this is objectively the worse half we could have played in this situation. And really poorly coached as well. Like why settle for FG's? There's no upside. We know KK can make kicks. He doesn't need a confidence boost. And if he misses, now you're risking dinging his confidence. Like, why? What good does that do?
